Lymphoma of the cerebellopontine angle mimicking metastasis lesion: A case report

چکیده

Primary lymphoma of the cerebellopontine angle (CPA) is rare and uncommon in central nervous system, accounting for approximately 0.2-2% all brain tumors. To our knowledge, there have only been 32 cases reported worldwide so far. Here, we report a case B-cell 56-year-old woman who presented with seizure, dysphagia, dizziness showed lesion involving left CPA, right frontal horn septum pellucidum on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The primary diagnosis was metastatic tumor; however, Stereotactic biopsy CPA done, histological features confirmed malignant lymphoma. patient treated chemotherapy, complete resolution symptoms after first chemotherapy session.
